(NewsDakota.com)- The Jimmie basketball teams return to the Civic Center for their first home doubleheader of the season. The Cougars of Minnesota-Morris will be the opponent.

Last season, both teams beat the Cougars in Morris. The men picked up a 80-64 win and the women won by nearly the same score 80-60.

The Jimmie men of course are a completely different team then last season having lost all five starters. JC is coming off a pair of wins at the Viterbo Classic in La Crosse, WI, including a revenge win over Viterbo who had beaten them eight days prior.

The women are coming off a pair of exhibition losses, a last second loss to Minot State and one to St. Cloud State, both are NCAA DII and NSIC members.

Tip-off tonight is scheduled for 5:30pm with the men to follow at 7:30pm. The game will be broadcast on KXGT 98.3/102.7 FM and streamed online at NewsDakota.com
