(NewsDakota.com) Two members of the Oakes High School bowling team were named to the All-Eastern Conference Team over the weekend at the 2012 North Dakota High School Bowling State Tournament in Grand Forks over the weekend.

Juniors John Lukenbill and Braden Hollingsworth represented Oakes on the list of eight for this year. Lukenbill, who earned all-conference honors for the first time in his career, has bowled in youth league since 2004 and has been on the team since the program started in 2008. Hollingsworth also is an inaugural member of the team, and was named to the list for a third year; winning Most Valuable Bowler last season.

As a team, Oakes finished last in the conference.

Matthew Lyter from Valley City was also named to the All-Conference team.
