F. “Dolly” Folk, 83, of Jamestown, ND, died Saturday, November 17, 2012 at Ave Maria Village, Jamestown.

Dolly was born on October 26, 1929, in Jamestown the daughter of Joseph and Christe Walsh.  The family moved to Seattle, WA for a short time, then returned to Jamestown where Dolly graduated from St. John’s Academy.  She married Pat Folk on September 14, 1949 at St. James Catholic Church in Jamestown.  The family lived in Alabama while Pat was in the service, and then returned to Jamestown where they raised a family.  Dolly was a member of St. James Basilica and the Tabernacle.  She volunteered at the nursing homes in Jamestown.  Dolly enjoyed bowling and playing cards.

Dolly is survived by her husband, Pat Folk, Jamestown; two daughters, Sue (Larry) Hopland, Jamestown and Marilyn (Wayne Muehler) Carlascio, Bismarck, ND; five grandchildren, Jason (Tricia) Hopland, Tonah (Sean) Safranski, Seannah (Derek) Duchscherer, Lisa (Eric) Lundvall, and Brandon Carlascio; four great grandchildren, Taylor and Ashton Safranski, and Bailey and Kinsley Hopland; one brother, Malcolm (Ruth) Walsh, Minneapolis, MN; and one sister, Marie George, Renton, WA.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, David Folk; one daughter, Mary Ann Speck; one sister, Adelle Harding; and one brother, Cleatus Walsh.


Eucharist of Christian Burial: –
10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at St. James Basilica, Jamestown.

Visitation: 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday, November 19, 2012 at Williams-Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown.

Prayer Service 7:00 p.m., Monday, November 19, 2012 at Williams-Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown.

Interment – Calvary Cemetery, Jamestown, North Dakota.
