Kunze, age 67 of Valley City died Nov. 12, 2012 at the Sheyenne Care Center in Valley City. Private family services will be conducted with burial later in Sacred heart Cemetery at Sanborn, ND.

Ruth Kunze was born June 25, 1945 to Walter and Leona Brobst. She married Art Kunze on October 10, 1970. Together they had a son, Joseph. Art died in 1996 and Ruth entered the Sheyenne Care Center in September 2007. She is preceded in death by her husband and parents. Survivors include her son Joseph (Chrissie) Kunze, Valley City, ND and 5 step-daughters: Marcene (Jack) Malusky, West Fargo, nd, Dianne (Rod) Loberg, West Fargo, ND, Virjean (Ken) Cramer, Amenia, ND, Donna (Tim) Duffey, Standish, ME, Pat (Lee) Betsch, Estelline, SD, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
