Swan, 77, Jamestown, ND died Wednesday morning November 14, 2012 at the Eventide at Hi-Acres in Jamestown, ND.

Hazel E. Friesdtad was born January 21, 1935 on a farm in Barnes County in ND, the daughter of Gilbert Friestad and Olga (Hagen) Friestad. She attended Noltimer School; later moving to Valley City and graduating from Valley City High School in 1953. She worked part time at North American Fairmont Foods, as the bookkeeper, and later full time for some years.

The interment will be at the Memory Gardens in Valley City, ND.
