CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) A Valley City teenager escaped serious injury following a rollover along Interstate 94 in Valley City Monday morning.

Police say the 16-year-old girl lost control of her vehicle on an icy stretch of the on-ramp in the west bound lane went into the ditch and rolled the vehicle.

The vehicle broke through the interstate fence and came to rest in the back yard of a home in Valley City. The driver was transported to Mercy hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
