(NewsDakota.com) – After hanging tough with the top-seeded Century Patriots in the first set, the Jamestown Blue Jays mustered just 20 combined points in sets two and three and were defeated by Century 3-0 in Saturday’s West Region Volleyball Tournament finals at Mandan High School (25-21, 25-12, 25-8).

Juniors McKayla Orr, Addie Eamon and Josie Hegerle in addition to senior Siri Jystad were honored as part of the All-Tournament First Team.

The next step for the Blue Jays will come at 2 p.m. on Thursday when they take on West Fargo in the opening round of the state tournament. The tournament will be hosted at Minot State University.
