CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) The city’s long standing funeral procession courtesy suspended due to a safety issue cited by Police Chief Fred Thompson last month may be reinstated this month.

Valley City Commissioner Mary Lee Nielson said discussion between the city and funeral home directors was fruitful last week. The issue will be addressed at the Nov. 19 city commission meeting.
