(NewsDakota.com) The Kindred Vikings and Oak Grove Grovers will play for the chance to be crowned Region I Volleyball Champions on Thursday evening and earn a spot in next week’s state tournament, after taking down Central Cass and Northern Cass respectively on Tuesday evening in the semifinals played in Oakes.

Oak Grove defeated Northern Cass in five games by scores of 21-25, 14-25, 25-16, 25-21, 17-15, and Kindred needed just three games to end Northern Cass’ chances of a state berth by scores of 25-19, 25-12, and 25-12.

The third place game on Thursday night features Northern Cass and Central Cass, and the title match will be played afterwards with Kindred and Oak Grove.
