N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Former North Dakota Attorney General Heidi Heitkamp edged out North Dakota Congressman Rick Berg by 2,705 votes in Tuesday’s election. With 407/426 precincts Heitkamp had 155,564 votes compared to Berg’s 152,859.
Public Service Commissioner Kevin Cramer received 54 percent of the vote compared to Pam Gulleson’s 41 percent to capture the state’s lone Congressional seat in Tuesday’s election.
Meanwhile Governor Jack Dalrymple easily defeated Ryan Taylor in the Gubernatorial race in North Dakota with 63 percent of the vote compared to Taylor’s 34 percent.
