CITY (NewsDakota.com) – College basketball returns to Valley City tonight with the VCSU men’s home opener against Minnesota-Crookston.
The No. 24-ranked Vikings enter tonight’s home game with a 1-1 record after beating No. 7 Northwestern and losing to No. 3 Dordt during a season-opening road trip last weekend.
AJ McDonald went off for 28 points and Sekani Milligen scored 21 in the win over Northwestern. Both scored 12 points in the loss.
Tonight’s contest is an exhibition game for Minnesota-Crookston, which dropped its first exhibition game to Gustavus Adolphus 70-61 last weekend.
Tip off is set for 7:30 p.m. at the W.E. Osmon Fieldhouse on the campus of Valley City State University.
