CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Wondering why the Sheyenne Riverbank restoration work along main where the river bank eroded close to the road is on hold?

Due to a tiny error in the original bid notification the project will have to be rebid. Chad Pedersen of Kadermas, Lee and Jackson said another bid for the project will be awarded later this month. But it could cost more.

Valley City Mayor Bob Werkhoven wasn’t pleased with that announcement during the city commission meeting yesterday.

The city was forced to reject all bids and will have to accept another bid later this month. Weather permitting its possible the contractor could finish the Sheyenne River bank restoration project before the spring thaw.
