CITY (NewsDakota.com) – After a week off, the Hi-Liner volleyball team will resume its season Tuesday night with a home match against Fargo South.
The Hi-Liners and Bruins are both fighting to move up in the EDC standings with just a few matches remaining. Valley City is currently 7th in the EDC standings at 4-8. South is 8th in the standings at 3-10. Each team has three matches remaining this season.
A win in the two-point EDC match Tuesday would go a long way towards securing at least a home play-in match prior to the EDC Tournament, and could help vault the winning team out of the play-in matches.
Tuesday’s match will be broadcast on KOVC-AM 1490. The match is set to begin about 7 p.m.
