(NewsDakota.com)  The Carrington Cardinals Volleyball team played Pingree-Buchanan-Kensal tonight (Oct. 22) in High School Volleyball action.  The Cards swept the Rebels 3-0 (25-16, 25-9, 25-14) and improve to 26-8 overall, PBK drops to 8-6.

Carrington had 16 aces total, Breanna Barton and Junior Madison Wendel had five each.  Wendel also had eight kills and three stuff blocks.  The Cards were 62 0f 71 serving.  Assists were led by Nikki Braaten with 14, Hannah Lipetzky had 13 digs.

Next up for the Cards is the District 7 Tourney in New Rockford on Thursday, October 25th.  Carrington will be the No. 3 seed and play No. 6 seed Harvey/Wells County in the first round.  No. 4 seed Lakota/AE plays No. 5 seed New Rockford/Sheyenne at 5:30p, the Cards will start 20 minutes after the first game.  All games will be broadcast on AM 1600 KDAK.
