N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Charges are pending against a 14-year-old Enderlin boy after a weekend crash in southeastern North Dakota that injured five people.

The Highway Patrol tells KOVC radio that the boy was driving a pickup truck that crashed into another pickup on a Ransom County road Saturday afternoon.

A teenage passenger in the boy’s pickup was hurt, along with all four people in the second pickup. They ranged in age from 8 to 62. The 14-year-old driver escaped injury.

Highway Patrol Sgt. Troy Hischer says 62-year-old Sharon Lund and her passenger 36-year-old Heather Lund both of Nome were air-lifted to a Fargo Hospital for treatment of injuries. Two other passengers a 16-year-old and an 8-year-old were also transported to a Fargo Hospital for treatment of their injuries. The condition of the injured people has not been released.
