N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The North Dakota Department of Transportation has announced it will be launching a new teen driver safety campaign in N.D. schools called “Think About It.”

Presentations as part of the program will be given by national public speaker Tyler Presnell, who was a victim of unsafe teen driving during his own teenage years.

Karin Mongeon is Traffic Safety Manager with NDDOT:

Mongeon says teen drivers were involved in more than 16 percent of fatal crashes last year.

After beginning his tour Monday in western North Dakota, Presnell will speak at schools in Carrington, Oakes, Ellendale, Edgeley and Montpelier through the end of next week.
