LAKE, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) The east-end floodwater diversion outlet on Devils Lake has been shut down for repairs.

State Water Commission Engineer Bruce Engelhardt says the pipeline leak earlier this month led to some ground erosion and pipe settling. He says he hopes the problem will be fixed in a matter of days.

Meanwhile the lake’s west-end outlet is still pumping Devils Lake water into the Sheyenne River.
