CITY (NewsDakota.com) – New Rockford-Sheyenne is up to No. 2 in the latest 9-man football polls released Wednesday evening. The Rockets are 7-0 on the season, one of three remaining undefeated teams in 9-man football, and received three first-place votes in this week’s p0ll.
Divide County tops the poll, followed by NRS, Towner-Granville-Upham, Wyndmere-Lidgerwood and North Star.
In Class A, Maple Valley-Enderlin dropped two spots to No. 5 after a loss last week to Milnor-North Sargent. Stanley-Powers Lake is No. 1, followed by Larimore, Heart River, Hazen and MVE.
The final regular season games of A and 9-Man are Friday night. Playoffs starts Saturday, Oct. 20 for the two divisions.
