M.N. (NewsDakota.com) A rash of Barnes County burglaries may have been solved thanks to Clay County Sheriff’s investigators in Moorhead.
Detective Jason Hicks says after deputies checked on a suspicious vehicle they ended up seizing a truckload of items linked to recent burglaries near Valley City. The items included a generator, trolling motor radiators and power tools.
32-year-old Broc Buytaert (By-Tairt) and Betsey Lee Runkle are charged with possession of stolen property and burglary tools and transporting stolen property. The stolen goodd were valued at more than $5,000.
