(NewsDakota)- The Jamestown High volleyball team is on a bit of a roll right now. Not only have they not lost since September 13th, they haven’t dropped a set since a decisive fifth set at Dickinson that night.
The Williston Coyotes, who the Jays have now beaten twice during their current 6-game winning streak, were in town last night and were steamrolled in straight sets, 25-17, 25-10, 25-17.
The Coyotes just brought their varsity and when the match was over in 45 minutes the five-hour bus trip had to seem like a bit of a waste.
It was the dominate front line of the Blue Jays that rarely allowed a free-ball to come over the net without it getting slammed back. Addie Eamon and Jenna Stilwell lead the way with nine kills a piece. Josie Hegerle had 17 assists.
Jamestown is now 16-5 on the season. They will play in the Fargo Invitational this weekend at Fargo Davies. Their opponents today will be Wahpeton, defending state champion Grand Forks Red River and LaMoure.
