CITY (NewsDakota.com) – Maple Valley-Enderlin has moved up to No. 3 in the latest Class A football poll released Wednesday evening.
The Falcons (6-0, 5-0 Region 1) are coming off a 26-22 victory over then No. 5 Northern Cass. Maple Valley-Enderlin puts its perfect record and No. 3 ranking on the line again Friday night in Milnor against North Sargent/Milnor (3-3, 3-2 Region 1).
Stanley-Power Lake is the unanimous No. 1 in the latest poll, followed by Larimore, MVE, Heart River and Hazen.
In the 9-man poll, New Rockford-Sheyenne (6-0, 5-0 Region 2) moved up one spot to No. 3. North Star tops the 9-man poll, followed by Divide County, NRS, Wyndmere-Lidgerwood and Towner-Granville-Upham.
Wyndmere-Lidgerwood was last week’s No.1 was but upset by LaMoure-Litchville-Marion. The Loboes (5-2) received votes in this week’s poll.
