LAKE (NewsDakota.com) – The Hi-Liner volleyball team continued its recent roll Tuesday night, rallying from a set down to pick up an EDC victory in Devils Lake, 20-25, 25-17, 25-11, 25-20.

With the win, Valley City is now all alone in sixth place in the EDC standings with a 4-6 conference record. West Fargo is fifth at 6-4, and Fargo South is seventh at 3-7.

Valley City’s record is now 14-11 overall and the Hi-Liners have won 13 of their last 16 matches after starting the season 1-8.

The Hi-Liners are in action again Friday and Saturday at the Fargo Invitational where they will play several Class A teams. Valley City’s next EDC match is Oct. 15 at Wahpeton.

Valley City has two-point EDC matches remaining against Wahpeton (2-6 EDC), Fargo South (3-7 EDC), Fargo North (9-3 EDC) and Grand Forks Red River (8-2 EDC).
