CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) The bid opening process for Valley City state Water Commission home demolitions was put on hold after a Valley City man questioned the bid opening procedure.

After an official legal review the city said the bid process that prospective bidders followed was right.

City Administrator David Schelkoph admitted that the city did take a few steps out of sequence but the bids for house demolitions in the city are legal.

The city opened up the house demolition bids during a city Finance meeting on Monday.
