(NewsDakota.com) As the temperature turns cooler, and the start of the flu season starts up, the Dickey County Health District is offering opportunities for residents to receive their flu shot.

Flu shot clinics are being set up throughout the county at various times; the first to be at the Ellendale Public Library on Thursday October 4 from 8-2. The Oakes Ambulance Center will be clinics on October 8 and 15 from 8-4:30. The Fullerton Ranch House and the Forbes Legion will have shots available on October 9; from 9-12 in Fullerton and from 2-4 in Forbes. The Dickey County Health District Office will end the campaign on October 18 from 8-4.

The Health District will file Medicare, Medicaid and Insurance claims. The cost of the shot is $30.
