(NewsDakota.com)- After sweeping the competition on Friday at the AII Jamboree the Jimmies ran into a front line of towering hitters. Ashford University sent a front line of three 6’3″ players on the floor against Jamestown College, winning the match 3-1.
The Jimmies took the second set after getting blown out in the first set. Ashford would come back and take sets three and four to down Jamestown. It is just their third loss of the season.
Jamestown College rebounded in the second match to beat Mayville St., 3-1. The Jimmies did drop one set, but otherwise rolled to a victory.
Coach Jon Hegerle’s squad is now 13-3 on the season. They will host Valley City St. and Dakota St. this weekend.
