N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Long time Carrington radio personality Larry “J” Nelson passed away in Minot at the age of 65.

Former co-worker and friend Lynn Schroeder has fond memories working with Larry at KDAK Radio in Carrington.

Funeral services for Larry Nelson will be held Thursday at 2pm in Trinity Lutheran Church Carrington and a prayer service will also be held at the church on Wednesday night at 7pm.

Visitation will be 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. until 12:00 noon Thursday at the Evans Funeral Home in Carrington.
