(NewsDakota.com) Griggs Barnes County football traveled to Lisbon for a match-up between AA East opponents. GBC Titans fell to the Lisbon Broncos 30-6. Lisbon improves to 3-2 on the year, GBC falls to 0-5.
Lisbon drew first blood on their homecoming night, by scoring with just three seconds left in the first quarter, it was SR starting running back Nathan Mangin with a one yard touchdown run, the extra point was no good, making it 6-0 Broncos. Then with 4:58 remaining in the second, JR Quarterback Dylan Urbach took it in from three yards out making it 12-0 Broncos, the extra point was no good. The Broncos would score two more times before the half, with 3:52 remaining in the second quarter, Wyatt Aberle took a 50-yard interception into the end zone making it 18-0. Then with 1:07 left in the second, the Broncos scored again making it 24-0. Right before the end of the first half, the Titans got on the board with a reverse, Jacoby Kramlich took it in 20 yards for the score, making it 24-6 at the half.
The last score of the game came in the third, another touchdown by Nathan Mangin, his third of the night, this time a 40-yard touchdown run, making it 30-6 the final.
