(NewsDakota.com)- This time it wasn’t the Jays who had to come back to force a decisive fifth game, however the result was the same. Dickinson rallied to force a fifth set then finished off Jamestown in the final set, 15-11.
A back-and-forth first set went to the Midgets by a score of 26-24. In the second set, it was all Blue Jays as they rolled to a 25-11 victory.
Jamestown also took the third set, playing some extra points 26-24. Following that, Dickinson was able to rally and force a fifth set with a 25-19 win.
In that final set, it was all Dickinson as they rolled to a 15-11 win. For the second time in three days the Jays dropped a fifth set in West Region play.
Addie Eamon and Siri Jystad, the Jays’ all-conference middle hitters, led the way with 15 and 12 kills respectively.
Dickinson is the final undefeated team in the WDA. Jamestown’s record goes to 10-5 on the season. They will travel to Bismarck High on Tuesday, that match will be broadcast on KQDJ-AM 1400.
