(NewsDakota.com) After finishing with a third place showing in the Gold Division of the Central Cass Tournament and sweeping the LaMoure Loboes all in the past week; the Oakes High School volleyball team returns to District 1 play Thursday night as they head to Fairmount to battle F-C-T.

The Tornadoes currently sit on top of the District 1 standings, with a 2-0 record; thanks to wins over Lisbon and Hankinson. The Rebels are 0-3 in District 1; with losses to North Sargent, Sargent Central and Milnor.

First serve of Thursday’s match is set for around 7:30 p.m.
