CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Some 100 world-class athletes, performers and champions will give their time to present a series of power-packed messages across Jamestown and Valley City area. Pastor Foster Beckstrand is with the Dazey Assembly of God Church.
“Team Xtreme is world class athletes and strong men from the U-S and Canada performing radical feats of strength.
“Island Breeze” international renowned performers from Polynesian islands bring colorful costumes, dance and fire.
“GX International” is a made up of world-class skaters, breakers, rappers and dancers from Europe, South America, Australia and the United States.
Matt Woods, regional event coordinator for Impact World Tour, says the four public performances will be Sept. 18 and 19 at the Jamestown Civic Center, and Sept. 20 and 21 at the North Dakota Winter Show.
Impact World Tour will visit daytime school assemblies in the region from September 14 through the 23.
Randy Jaspers, pastor at Temple Baptist Church in Jamestown, is one of the local coordinators in Jamestown and says the athletes and performers will deliver a different message in the schools.
On September 18, Island Breeze will perform inside the Jamestown Civic Center and on September 19, GX International will perform inside the Civic Center at 7pm.
On September 20, Team Xtreme will perform inside the North Dakota Winter Show Event Center in Valley City. Then on September 21, GX International will perform inside the NDWS in Valley City. Admission is free and all shows in Jamestown and Valley City start at 7pm.
Founded in 1993, the Impact World Tour has traveled to over 1600 cities across 5 continents and some 40 U-S states. All team members are asked to volunteer their time.
