CITY  (NewsDakota.com)–The Hi-Liner tennis team ran into a tough West Fargo Packer team in Valley City yesterday, dropping a 9-0 defeat.

Valley City did not manage to take a set off of the Packers, with Dalton Ondracek coming closest, winning four games in the first set of his match. 

Head coach Matt Nielson said the team played with the right demeanor, but needs to work on intensity.  “We are hitting the right shot, but we need to anticipate the next shot and get after our offensive opportunities,” said Nielson.

Next up for the Hi-Liners will be Fargo North in Fargo on Thursday.  The Hi-Liners return home Friday to face Mandan, then head to the West Fargo Invitational Saturday.
