memorial service for Carol Kiser, 71, Valley City, ND, will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday, September 6, 2012 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, Valley City.  She died at Essentia Health in Fargo, ND on September 3, 2012.

Visitation will be at the church an hour prior to the service on Thursday.

Carol Cruff was born September 22, 1940 to Claire and Murlie (Beil) Cruff  in Valley City, ND.  She was the sixth child of seven with four older brothers, one older sister and one younger sister.

She married Dale Kiser June 1, 1958.  Together they had five children; three boys and two girls.

Carol was a member of the Valley City Eagles Auxiliary and the VFW. 

She is survived by her husband Dale Kiser; her children; Mark Kiser, Tara Kiser, Beth (Dave) Dvorak, and Marlin “Herb” Kiser; two brothers; Bill (Kathy) Cruff and Gary (Sandy) Cruff; one sister, Bonnie Burchill; two brothers-in-law, Jim Kiser and Odis Foreman; and one sister-in-law, Shirley Olson; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; four step-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings, Jim, Murlie and Ken; and her son, Monty.
