(NewsDakota.com)- The Blue Jays opened the regular season right where they left off last weekend in Bismarck with a dominating win over Minot. Taking the match in straight sets; 25-15, 25-21, 25-12.

Jamestown went 7-0 this past weekend in Bismarck knocking off some the state’s best teams in best-of-three matches.

The Blue Jays will have most of next week off before returning to action in Marshall, MN where they play in a weekend invitational. Coach Sara Hegerle called it one of the most competitive in the region.

The first broadcast of Blue Jay volleyball will be when they return home on September 11th to play Bismarck Century. You can hear that game on Dakota Country KQDJ-AM 1400.
