(NewsDakota.com) After earning their first win in the young season, the Oakes High School volleyball team returns home on Thursday night to go up against fellow District 1 opponent Hankinson.

Oakes is 1-1 this season, losing their season and home opener on Saturday night three games to none against the Kindred Vikings, but turned it around on Tuesday night with a three games to one victory against Richland County in Colfax. After Thursday night’s game, Oakes will have a week off from competition before going up against Lisbon.
