(NewsDakota.com) – Ave Maria Village’s drive to raise .35 million for a new chapel recently received a giant boost from one of its own residents.

Ave Maria Village resident Marvin Tokach recently made a $25,000 donation to the project, which consists of the design and building of a 2,500 square foot chapel, an enclosed transportation center and a family suite.

“It’s very important that the residents of Ave Maria Village have a chapel devoted to their spiritual need and a space devoted to socializing,” Tokach said in a release from Ave Maria Village. “This project does both of those and adds an enclosed transport center and family suite. I’m very happy to be a part of making it happen.”

Ave Maria Village says more than $500,000 for the project has been raised so far. A project schedule has construction beginning this spring.
