Lillian (Smith) Moser joined her heavenly father on August 13th 2012. She was born September 7th1934 at Crookston, MN to Ingman Sr. and Emma (Eken) Thoreson and grew up on the family farm near Climax, MN. She was Baptized and Confirmed at the Sand Hill Lutheran Church in Climax, MN. Delores graduated from Climax Secondary School in 1952. She proceeded to work at West Fargo State Bank later moving to Bismarck, ND and worked at Montgomery Wards and First National Bank. Delores was united in marriage with Warren Robert Smith on June 2nd 1956, Sand Hill Lutheran Church. They made their home on a farm in rural Kathryn. There were seven children blessed to this marriage. Warren passed away in 1989. Delores was employed at the Sheyenne Care Center in Valley City, ND and Central Dakota Village, Jamestown ND; where she continued doing what she loved, caring for others. She married Edward Rudolph Moser February 13th 1993. They made their home in Medina, ND. Delores loved baking, gardening, canning, cooking, entertaining, sewing, dancing, singing and playing piano. But above all, she loved spending time with her family. She will always be remembered for her selflessness and love of family.
She is survived by her husband Eddie, her daughter Connie (Kevin) Tangen, six sons Kevin, Bruce (Connie), Brent (Rhonda), Todd (Amber), Wade (Jamie), David (Mindy) all of the Kathryn/Litchville area, five step-daughters Jeanne (Dean Hellesvig) Maddock, Vicki (Clarence Glatt) Bismarck, Penny (Dennis Maw) Tappen, Marcy Koenig, Bismarck and Nikki (DWayne Klein) Maddock, Her brothers Ingman Jr. (Pat) Thoreson, Crookston, twin brother, Delano (Janice) Thoreson, Climax, her sisters Arlone Cymbaluk, Crookston, JoAnn (Gerald) Johnson, East Grand Forks, 27 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her first husband Warren Smith, her parents Ingman Sr. and Emma Thoreson, and granddaughter Andrea Arbuckle.
Visitation will be 4-7pm Thursday August 16th at the Oliver-Nathan Funeral Chapel with a prayer service held at 7pm, visitation will continue one hour before the service at the church. Funeral services will be held at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Kathryn, ND at 2:00pm on Friday August 17th 2012, Pastor Bradley Edin and Pastor Elmo Herman officiating.
