Roseth Lund passed away was called home by the Lord on August 10 at the Sheyenne Care Center in Valley City.  She was born on December 9, 1915 and grew up on a farm near Luverne ND as the youngest of 3 daughters.  Ruth and her beloved husband, Roy Lund, lived happily in Valley City until his death in 1978.  Known for her friendly smile and fun-poking humor, Ruth’s home was always a welcome place for friends and a large family of relatives.   Ruth and Roy were always helpful and generous to others, usually behind the scenes. Both were members of Our Saviors Lutheran Church dating back to the early 1900s.

Surviving her are 2 daughters, Marilyn Lund Teslow (husband Paul) of Newport Beach, CA, Louise Lund Milman of Punta Gorda, FL and son Duane Lund (wife Audrey) of Valley City.  Her grandchildren are Lori Teslow, Linda Gerlach, Sandra Wagner, Todd Lund, Tammy Drake, Melissa Lund  and Elizabeth Lokken.   Ruth also had 14 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Tuesday August 14, 2012 at 2:30 PM at Our Saviors Lutheran Church followed by a reception at the Church.  Interment will be in Woodbine Cemetery.   In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Sheyenne Care Center.
