CITY  (NewsDakota.com)–The Valley City Extreme fastpitch softball team rallied in loser-out play for a 10-6 win over Downers Grove, IL, a Chicago-area team Friday morning at the Northern National in Madison, WI.

Valley City lost a 5-2 lead, and trailed into the sixth before tying the game, then scoring four runs for the win late.

The Extreme will play at 2:00 p.m. against a Minnesota team yet to be determined.
