(NewsDakota.com) The 2012 North Dakota State Cal Ripken Non-Advancing Baseball Tournament starts Friday and runs through Sunday in Oakes.
Oakes, along with Jamestown, Grafton, Gwinner, Park River and Hazen/Beulah will be participating in this year’s tourney at Cummings Field.
An opening ceremony is planned at 12:30, and first pitch of game one is at 1. At the end of the day, individual contests will be held which feature longest thrower, best throwing accuracy, fastest runner and a three-legged race.
Admissions is $5 for adults per day, $3 for students, and free for kids under six.
