N.D. (NewsDakota.com) 3 people were injured in a head-on crash south of Carrington around 12:40 yesterday in a construction zone.

Highway Patrol Sgt. Josh Rude a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado driven by David John Carter of Elkwater, Alberta was southbound on Hwy 281 & 52 when his vehicle crossed the center line and crashed head-on into a 1991 Winnebago driven by Rita Lulai, and her passenger Angela Nording, both of Jamestown. The Winnebago was stopped at the time of the crash and the Silverado was traveling at approximately 40 mph.

All occupants were wearing seat belts, and were transported to the Foster County Hospital in Carrington for treatment of their injuries. No report was available on the extent of injuries sustained, and both vehicles were towed from the accident scene. The crash remains under investigation with the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
