CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) The smell of electrical smoke filled the office of the broadcast center in Valley City on Tuesday afternoon.

A ballast light fixture heated up and started to smoke. Fire crews arrived and aired the building out and an electrician made the necessary repairs to the light fixture.

No one was injured. The incident caused a few laughs inside the office once it was determined not to be as serious as it could have been.
