CITY  (NewsDakota.com)–The Valley City Post 60 American Legion baseball team begins its tournament run today in Lidgerwood, taking on the host team.

Post 60 faces Lidgerwood in the final game of the night, scheduled for 7:30 p.m.  Valley City is the three-seed, and Lidgerwood the six.  Valley City swept the season series, winning two games on July 6th.  Lidgerwood did not host a league game in the series this season.

The day begins with top-seed Wahpeton facing Galchutt at 12:00 p.m.  Four-seed Harwood will matchup with five-seed Fairmount-Hankinson at 2:30 p.m, and second-seed Kindred faces Great Bend at 5:00 p.m. 

Valley City games will be heard on Q101 KQDJ-FM throughout the tournament.
