(NewsDakota.com)- A dramatic home run in the 7th inning could not stop Post 14’s five-game skid. They dropped a 5-4 decision to Aberdeen in eight innings.
With one-on and two-out in the top of the 7th, Jamestown faced a 3-2 deficit before Brady Anderson cracked a two-run homer to give his squad the lead.
Jake Stilwell relieved starter Tyler Ukestad who pitched six strong innings, but couldn’t hold down the lead. He gave up one run in the 7th and 8th, both coming with two-outs. The latter won the game for Aberdeen.
Jamestown’s games at Jack Brown Stadium originally scheduled for Wednesday have been moved to Thursday. They will play Fargo during Fan Appreciation Day.
