(NewsDakota.com) The 2012 North Dakota Shrine Bowl sponsored by the Kem and El Zagal Temples of Grand Forks and Fargo is set for Saturday afternoon and evening at Fargo Shanley High School in south Fargo.

Players who graduated from high school this past spring from across the state of North Dakota, as well as a few from Minnesota, will suit up; some for the final time in their football careers. They have been practicing since Monday, and have spent the last week together; including making a trip to Minneapolis to visit a Shriner’s Hospital.

The 11-Man game will be first at 4 p.m. Saturday taking the best of the east versus the best of the west. The 9-Man game will follow with the west taking on the east scheduled for around 7 p.m.

Coverage on Q101.1 FM, KDDR 1220-AM/95.9 FM, KDAK 1600-AM and NewsDakota.com with Jason Metko and Vance Stemen will start at 3:30 from Shanley.
