N.D. (AP) – A North Dakota pasta maker that has been operating since 1980 plans to close this fall.
Noodles by Leonardo has asked the state Public Service Commission to cancel its grain elevator license. North Dakota Public Radio reports that a pasta company vice president in a letter to the PSC says the manufacturer plans to permanently close at the end of September.
The company in March announced it was selling its plant in Devils Lake and consolidating operations at its Cando facility. The two facilities together had about 50 workers at that time. The company refused comment to Public Radio.
