(NewsDakota.com) The 2012 Dickey County Fair starts Friday and runs through Sunday in Ellendale.

Commercial exhibits are all three days; starting at noon on Friday, 9 a.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. on Sunday.

Friday features the North Dakota Junior Point show, a 3 on 3 basketball tournament, pony and train rides, a country cook-off, free evening meal, a bread auction and the night ending with the River Rats Dualing Pianos and Finnish Line Fireworks.

On Saturday, the March For Memories 5K walk/run starts the day along with the 4-h livestock show in addition to a kids pedal tractor pull, craft and pet shows, inflatable games, a pork chop meal, the 4-H premium sale, and the Bar S Rodeo followed by the band “In The Fields” to end the night.

Sunday starts with a gospel hour, the 4-H pancake breakfast, a clothing revue style show and the demolition derby.
