CITY, ND (NewsDakota.com) Dawn Mathias of Valley City was installed as the new president of the Valley City Rotary Club on Tuesday during the regular weekly meeting at the VFW Club.

Mathias is employed with the Oliver-Nathan Funeral Chapel in Valley City. She and her husband Ryan have 3 children.

Outgoing president Keith Heuser handed off the gavel to Mathias. Heuser was also awarded the Rotary gavel plaque for his service as president.

Also attending the meeting was the District Governor, Ron Cavalier and his wife Mary of Crookston, Minnesota.
