(NewsDakota.com)- After having three of their four games at the Cornhusker Classic rained out over the weekend, the Jamestown Legion returns full strength for their home opener.

They will welcome the Fargo Metros to Jack Brown Stadium with first pitch at 5:30pm.

Post 14 won their opening game in Omaha a 2-1 walk-off win over Morton (IL), thanks to a pinch-hit double and a Danny Fischer RBI single. The rest of the games were canceled due to weather, but the team did have a chance to take in a few games of the College World Series.

KQDJ 1400 will carry some Jamestown Legion games this year with the first broadcast coming up on Tuesday against Devils Lake. Of course those games will also be streamed right here on NewsDakota.com.
